Dipped my toe back in to the Costco lake today by attending a great networking event where Brene Brown was the speaker. She was amazing, and it was wonderful to see work buddies after such a long absence. I thanked Jim Sinegal for making sure we all have such outstanding healthcare, and he was very kind.
Afterward, Abe and I had a notary from the title company come by the apartment so we could fill out the paperwork for our home sale. The closing is on the 29th, but they said we could fill ours out early. Yay! Having the Minnesota house sold will be a relief – one less thing to worry about.
Tomorrow I’ll be at UWMC all day – they’re going to spend eight hours evaluating my mental capabilities to see how things are going before sending me back to work. This should be interesting. I guess at the very least we’ll discover whether I have eight hours worth of mental capabilities (har har).
Now I’m going to veg out and re-watch Better Off Ted on Netflix. It’s nice to end the day with some laughs.
Congrats on selling the house in MN, although I’m saddened that it is one less link to you here in the land of 10,000 lakes. Hope Brene Brown was amazing! I love her stuff!
